Greenland is home to nearly 57,000 people. A proud nation with its own culture, language, history and identity. At hummel we believe, that the future of Greenland should be shaped by the people who live there.

This is why we've created The official Support Greenland jersey - a symbol of solidarity and respect for Greenlandic sovereignty. It stands for the fundamental belief that the future of Greenland belongs to the Greenlandic people themselves.

Developed in collaboration with the National Organization of Greenlanders in Denmark, UAGUT, and the initiative Support Greenland, three official jerseys have been created. Each design represents unity, dignity and the right to self determination. This jersey is made for everyone who stands up for the cause. For those who believe in listening, supporting and acting. For those who want to wear their values and show visible support for a Greenland shaped by its own people.

The Support Greenland collection is rooted in the Greenlandic flag – a strong symbol of identity, presence, and collective voice. Drawing on the meaning of Kalaallit Nunaat, “Land of the Greenlanders,” the design places people at the center and serves as a visual platform that amplifies their perspectives and rights. The red semicircle appears as a bold and recognizable element throughout, while a clear color palette of red, black, and white – complemented by references to the Arctic landscape – anchors the expression in both identity and place. The typography stands sharp and uncompromising, underscoring the urgency and importance of the message. Together, the identity is strong, confident, clear, and insistent – created to stand visibly with Kalaallit Nunaat and ensure that voices are heard.
